Awake, my soul! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn. I will give thanks to you,
O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.
Psalm 57:8–9

About This Group
Rise & SHINE is a Wednesday morning prayer gathering rooted in the worship life of the early Church and the Wesleyan tradition. Modeled after the prayer societies and class meetings of early Methodism, this gathering is set apart for deep, intentional prayer and worship. Through Scripture, hymnody, intercession, and Holy Communion, we come together to be shaped by ancient practices that continue to form living faith today. This is worship that is reverent, relational, and centered on Christ.
Who Is This Group For?
Rise & SHINE is for anyone seeking a deeper rhythm of prayer and worship in the middle of the week. Whether you are drawn to historic liturgy, desire a quiet space for intercession, or long to be nourished regularly by Word and Table, you are welcome here. This gathering is open to all—no prior experience with liturgical worship is required. Come as you are, whether you are new to the faith or have walked with Christ for many years.
