8:00 Service | Boldness | Go With Us Series – Week 2 | Acts 4:8-11
This week in our Go With Us series, we explored Acts 4:8–13 and the remarkable transformation of Peter from a man marked by failure into a bold witness for Jesus Christ.
Before Peter stood courageously before the religious leaders, he had experienced fear, regret, and one of the most painful failures of his life—denying Jesus three times. Yet Jesus didn't give up on Peter. Through grace, forgiveness, and the power of the Holy Spirit, Peter discovered that his greatest failure would not become his final identity.
Pastor Zim reminded us that many of us carry guilt, regrets, and mistakes that keep us from fully embracing God's calling. But the same Jesus who restored Peter still restores people today. Through the Holy Spirit, God empowers ordinary people to live with courage, purpose, and hope.
In this message, we were reminded that:
👉 Your greatest failure does not have to become your final identity
👉 Jesus restores people that others would write off
👉 The Holy Spirit empowers us to live boldly for Christ
👉 God's grace is greater than our guilt and shame
👉 Boldness comes from God's presence, not our own strength
