Companionship
Thankful Thursday finds days where people and companionship surround you from morning through night. Then some days, loneiness wraps around you like a blanket sometimes even when others are around you. The loneiness may result from a situation you are facing, but don’t know to whom you can turn to work through it. You may not be able to think of another person who has walked through the particular situation you are facing or that you trust enough to discuss it.
It is in these moments that we do have a companion, who never leaves us. You can find His Word filled with timeless wisdom. The scriptures hold His guidance, encouragement, and blessings for you. To feel His presence, enter into prayer, read the scriptures, and pause in silence to hear His voice. When you seek Him, you will find Him. “Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7 The perfect companionship awaits you.
