Thankful Thursday looks ahead to another Sunday celebration. This Sunday we will be saying “Thank You!” to Bob and Carole Shearer for their many years of leading and serving in the Holy Grounds area of Gravel Hill. They have graciously shared their gift of hospitality with those entering Gravel Hill.
Bob’s and Carole’s cheerful smiles and warm hellos brighten the day of those on their receiving end. Preparing the warm cups of coffee, delicious chocolate milk, and yummy treats are just a few of the small ways they welcome those entering the doors. For their many years of service, we say “Thank you!”
Their warm welcome is not disappearing. You will still be able to find them sharing friendly greeting on Sunday mornings. They are passing the baton of hospitality leadership and organizing on while remaining available to offer guidance as needed. So you are invited to join us to celebrate the servant hearts of Bob and Carole this Sunday between worship services.

Want to be part of a prayer group? We come together in a collective effort to support and lift up others. You do this during your time with God knowing others are also lifting these prayers to God. Join our Facebook group: Gravel Hill Prayers. It is a closed group to be mindful of the private and sensitive requests made. And it’s purpose: for you to be a prayer warrior both interceding where others are asking for assistance in prayer and requesting prayers for situations that need lifting.
