Power of Words

Thankful Thursday lifts praise for those whom instill confidence and belief in others through the power of the words they share. In these past few weeks, we honored administrative assistants, teachers, and nurses (and will soon honor moms) whom each behold this powerful gift and freely share it because they have seen and know the magnitude of their shared gift. A miracle to behold.

When these words are shared with us, they can be a gift of life, a breath of fresh air, and a beautiful reminder that draws us from the miry depths of “stinkin’ thinking.” This gift lifts our eyes and hearts to the horizon and above. Towards hope. Isaiah 40:26 says:

26 Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens:
    Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one
and calls forth each of them by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing.

No star is missing from the sky, nor are you missing from this moment here on earth.

The powerful words spark a connection within us from the present moment of abilities and actions to the possibilities of what can be with a tweak in action.  What new horizon have you been challenged to lift your eyes toward? You too behold this powerful gift. Is there someone in your life to whom you can share the gift of powerful words of belief in them?

Blessings!
