Celebration
Thankful Thursday finds a day of celebration. Gathering for lunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday brings several of us together. To take a moment in time and joyfully recognize one of God’s children, a gift on this earth, is one of the great blessings of life.
Each of us is surrounded by some great gifts from God. How often do we stop, look around and recognize these gifts, and then take the time to celebrate these gifts? The people in our lives, the experiences we get to have, travel we get to do, and goodness God makes of all of it truly come together to make one extraordinary life that God has made in you and each person around you.
Today I get to celebrate my extraordinary friend. I pray that you get to make the time to celebrate an extraordinary person in your life soon too. That shared celebration will be a gift to them (& yes, that shared joy even tends to circle back into your life and heart too!) Happy celebrating!
