Together

Thankful Thursday finds me grateful for companionship. Sitting beside my kiddo, who is home on spring break, both of us working away on projects. This follows a morning walk where we had the pleasure of a neighbor joining us on our lap around the neighborhood. Each of these moments could have been completed alone, but were blessed with the company of another by my side, living life together.

Designed for companionship, God created us to be in relationship with Him. The beauty of healthy relationships provides the fertile ground for the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) to grow. As children of God, we will be different in this world.

Different together. 2 Timothy 3:14-17 encourages us to continue in our learning from the from the Bible and become convicted of it because it comes from God and thoroughly equips us for every good work. We learn about and grow closer to God so we can live out the Great Commission. The Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) calls us to go and make disciples of all nations baptizing and teaching the commands of the LORD. We need to know the commands so we can live them out and teach them.

As we learn, teach, and live in God’s Word, I’m grateful He has given us each other to come along side each other through the process. The togetherness gives us encouragement. It gives us hope as we live life differently from the world, but together.

Blessings!
