Every Step of the Way
Thankful Thursday faces a task that scares me. My stomach is in knots. Thoughts of doubt fly rapidly through my brain. Tackling the impending task almost paralyzes me. But God’s grace shined in my devotional time this morning. In my reading, this reminder spoke to me: when we feel intimidated and look to God He gives us “power, love, and self-discipline” to finish our task (2 Timothy 1:7).
Thanks to renewing faith daily in God’s Word, my hope reignites and bolsters my courage to faithfully live. To use the gifts given to me to make an impact in the spaces where I am connected. By doing so, I’m fulfilling part of God’s plan as He simultaneously makes connections and impact in places I can not see. Even when challenge surrounds my perspective, He will be with me. Using the courage gained, I will tackle the task knowing God walks beside me every step of the way.
