Gratefully Taking It Slow
Thankful Thursday sees the road outside our home getting a refresh. And our refresh is done through the method of adding oil and stone chips on top of the road. If you have had to drive on roads with fresh oil and chips, you know SLOW travel is the name of the game if you do not want stones kicked up onto your car or the oil that seeps through the chip layer to splatter onto your car either.
The grumbling points of extra planning, mess, and time lessen when I step back and see the bigger picture. Our township proactively provides attention to the roads to make sure we have safe areas to travel. This fact is something for which to be grateful. While there maybe some inconvenience right now, in the larger scope of things these actions will allow us good travel in a fiscally sound way that also affords us the ability to have other opportunities provided through our township.
So if you find yourself grumbling about a current situation, I encourage you to pause, step back and look at the bigger picture. See the gifts you have been given through this tough place and use them for good and gratitude.
Blessings!

It is a closed group to be mindful of the private and sensitive requests made. And it’s purpose is for you to be a prayer warrior both interceding where others are asking for assistance in prayer and requesting prayers for situations that need lifting.
