Bounty Blessings

Thankful Thursday sees gratitude flowing through action. The gratitude expressed comes from a recognition of the blessings beyond my daily needs. The extra goodness that has come my way waits for my decision. Where do I share these blessings?

One place with a donation site at Gravel Hill is the Caring Cupboard Summer Lunch Wish List.  As I am out doing my regular grocery shopping for my family, I also get items that are easy for children to open or prepare while they are home over the summer months (see a list of items in the graphic.) When our family attends church on Sunday morning, I being the items along and place them in the grocery cart at church. This small meaningful action provides impact beyond my knowledge because I know that God takes what is given and generously multiples it (Mark 4:8).

As you go about your day, where might you find a small action or area of bounty that you can share? Do you have the gift of time to go to an animal shelter and give attention to the animals there? Or maybe you bulk shop for the items your family uses and have more than a few “extra” back up supplies you can donate. Wherever that bountiful blessing is I challenge you to share it and watch God do something special.
