Learning, Living, & Sharing
Thankful Thursday gratefully explores the goodness of those willing to share wisdom extracted from their life experiences. As I step into uncharted territories of life for myself, I look around to see if I can find someone who has been in situation where I am heading. Once discovered, I connect with that person and see if they are willing to share either about their experience or at the very least, any lessons they may have learned.
Proverbs 1:5 encourages us with the following: “let the wise listen and add to their learning,
and let the discerning get guidance—.” So much comes through the gift of sharing and receiving for both individuals. As I listen, I learn. The lessons learned help me give shape to the unknown ahead and confidence for the journey. While living this journey, I connect with others in a similar stage to continue learning as we go and to cheer each other along the way. Once I come to the close of a situation or chapter of life, I also try to look for someone headed into the stage I just left or am leaving to share the lessons learned to help them navigate their journey more smoothly.
As you journey through life, may you be willing to learn from the experienced individuals, cheer those living along aside you, and share with those about to follow in your footsteps.
Blessings!
