Thankful Thursday 11-25-2021
Happy Thanksgiving!
Thankful Thursday brings us all together to focus on Thanksgiving. As we gather together to give thanks like the pilgrims did so many years ago, we celebrate the blessings from God, bonds of family and community, and the bounty of food. On this day of gathering and reflecting, take a moment (maybe while gathered around the table) to share where you see the cornucopia of the fruit of the Spirit in your life.
The Fruit of the Spirit
22 By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. – Galatians 5:22-23
Where in your life do you see: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control? Where you find these, you find God. Give thanks for these intangible gifts. Enjoy your day (as peaceful or as raucous as it may be) with a thankful heart!
Happy Thanksgiving!

If you want to be part of a prayer group joining in collective efforts to support and lift up others during your time with God, you can do so through our new Facebook group: Gravel Hill Prayers. It is a closed group to be mindful of the private and sensitive requests made. And it’s purpose is for you to be a prayer warrior both interceding where others are asking for assistance in prayer and requesting prayers for situations that need lifting. To join, please send an email to Katie.
