Thankful Thursday 11-11-2021

Thankful Thursday is also Veterans Day this year. America would not be the country it is today without the many service men and women who train and work to protect our country and what it stands for. And those men and women would not be there without the generations that have come before them. For the sacrifices of these folks as well as their family support systems here on the home front make, thank you.

Gratitude overwhelms me because we have the freedom to worship our Lord and Savior. This is not true around the world. And right now my brain can not wrap itself around being in a different scenario where I am told who or when to worship. So grateful for the freedom we have and the men and women who make it possible. I pray that through these simple words you can feel the depth of my gratitude: Thank you!

If you want to be part of a prayer group joining in collective efforts to support and lift up others during your time with God, you can do so through our new Facebook group: Gravel Hill Prayers. It is a closed group to be mindful of the private and sensitive requests made. And it’s purpose is for you to be a prayer warrior both interceding where others are asking for assistance in prayer and requesting prayers for situations that need lifting. To join, please send an email to Katie.
