A Moment To Praise 8.16.21

Overwhelmed

Some days, I can get overwhelmed easily. I may oversleep, or I may get a phone call that throws my day off. I may have way too much stuff on my mind that prevents me from focusing on my goals for that moment in time. All of these things make for a tough way to start or end my day.

I would suggest that we all work towards not being overwhelmed with anything of this world. There is one thing that should overwhelm us and lead us to shout out in praise: the majesty of God. Nothing else deserves our complete attention!

All things come from God, as the scripture states. Whether we acknowledge it or not, He has a firm control over it all. We should not allow the day-to-day things of this world to overwhelm our soul. Instead, we should allow God to have control and lean into His majesty and strength for our everyday concerns.

God created all of nature to worship Him. He also created us to worship Him, not to worry!

Let’s be overwhelmed and in awe of the Lord! Remember, if the stars were meant to worship, then so will I!!
