It’s always heartwarming to receive a message from a friend that says: “Hey, I just thought about you today and want you to know that I’m praying for you.”  Doesn’t it feel good to hear when you’re least expecting it? Or better yet, when you’re having a bad day? I have to say that this exact thing has happened to me numerous times and it makes my heart smile. I know that God is reaching out to me through the loving countenance of a Christian friend.

This scripture tells us to be honest with each other, and to pray fervently for one another. It says that prayers from a righteous person are powerful and effective. Thank you to all of my friends who pray for me and petition to God on my behalf. You’re the best! Also, thanks to the scripture for coaxing me to bring others before God. Scripture reminds me that through God, my prayers for others can be answered in a powerful and effective way by God.
Friends are a true gift and blessing from God. If you have good godly people in your life praying for you, remember to thank God for them. In return, remember to bless them with your prayers too.
