A Moment To Praise 3.15.21

From Heaven
I have a funny story to share with you! Shawn and I were walking on Saturday morning, when suddenly from above, more specifically, a telephone pole on Walnut Street, a rather large chunk from a loaf of bread fell from heaven. Shawn and I laughed and said, “Hey, that’s truly manna from heaven!”
A Moment To Praise 3.15.21 in Scripture
Psalm 105:40Â ESVÂ
They asked, and he brought quail, and gave them bread from heaven in abundance.
This is a passage about how God provided for the Israelites. His people asked for His help, and He gave them bread from heaven. Certain commentaries on this passage use the phrasing: ‘God satisfied and nurtured his people’. In essence, God took care of all of their needs.
It makes me wonder whether we are ever satisfied with life? Do we cry out to God to help us, provide for us, quench our thirsts and desires? Furthermore, do we recognize when God does all of those things for us? So many times, we have a certain answer that we want to hear, and we completely ignore the numerous ways that God has sent satisfaction to us. It is so important to open our eyes and our hearts to see and feel God’s grace upon us as we walk through life every day.
Let me give you some examples.
You feel lonely, but within a few days a wonderful phone call comes your way and lifts your spirit.
All the work you do feels like it amounts to nothing, but then you receive a card explaining in full detail how you made a difference in someone’s life. You feel sad, but then you are made aware of someone else’s troubles, and you realize that things aren’t so bad for you. Hopefully, you reach out to the other person and make a change for yourself and for them too.
I guess that what I’m trying to say is that God gives us manna from heaven every day. He reaches out to satisfy and give loving care to us at all times. All we have to do is take a minute and look more closely for it. Oh, and one more thing. Be careful walking down Walnut Street, lest you get hit on the head with some bread from heaven.

This song is beautiful, hopefully it will help you remember the gifts that come from God, His manna from heaven to you!
