Moment To Praise For Kids 11.3.20

November is here! A Thanksfilled Month! Yes, I definitely just made up my own word! It’s because I love this month and especially Thanksgiving!

When I was a kid, my dad and I would watch the Thanksgiving parade while the smell of turkey and stuffing wafted through my whole house. It is still one of my best memories of childhood! As an adult, I still love the smell of dinner cooking, time with my loved ones, and the sound of the parade going on in the background. Even so, I also realize it’s a perfect time to look at the things that I should be thankful to God for in my life!

I’m going to encourage you to do the same thing as we move through this month. You can make a list of the goodness that you have in life that has been made possible because of God’s presence in your life. Look at this scripture. It says that I will not only praise God and give Him thanks, but I will magnify Him! Make Him stand out and be the most important in my life!

Psalm 69:30

Think of the ways in which God is magnified in your life. For me, it’s through good memories of childhood celebrations! It’s through a warm home to live in and feel safe, with all the food I need plus more! Not only that, butĀ I have a God who gives me love and grace every day.

This November, let’s all be thanksfilled! (Just watch out for that thanksfilling – hahaha!) We can magnify God in all we do and praise His name with all of our heart! Here’s a song doing just that!
