Trust

Disney Movie Quiz anyone? What movie boasts the line, “Do you trust me?”

If you said Aladdin, you are correct!

It is hard to trust, isn’t it? Let me give you some examples in which you may not be so trusting. In this political climate, it’s hard to know who is telling the truth and who is not. After each ad, the line “do you trust me?” could be applied. How about when you’re in need of a new vehicle? Picture yourself at a used car lot when you see a car you like. Suddenly, the sales person is giving all the “too good to be true” facts. You might start thinking, “do I trust you?”

A Moment To Praise 10.12.20 in Scripture

I can tell you one place, beyond a shadow of a doubt, in which you can have complete trust! That place is in God and in His Son, Jesus Christ. Let me share with you some scripture that speaks to God’s promises for your life!

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

These are but a few of the promises that God made to us, His people, when we trust in Him and believe in His Son.

At this website, you can read all of His promises as written in the scriptures: https://www.openbible.info/topics/gods_promises

Remember, God is ALWAYS on your side. He is the only thing in this world that is trustworthy and true. People will fail you, politicians will fail you, family members will fail you, religious leaders will fail you. Guess why? It’s because all of those people are human beings. God is not human. In fact, He is far and above our human minds. When you learn to trust in Him and the promises He gives through His Son, Jesus Christ, you will truly be able to say, “Yes Lord, I trust You and You alone to supply all of my needs!” It will definitely be a sweet realization!

Proverbs 3:5-6

It is sweet when we learn to not follow our own thinking, but rather, to rely on God and trust in Him! Take a listen!
