Be Mighty!

Joyce Lochinger

Miss Joyce

Hi kids and parents!

Did you know that you can be mighty?¬†Even if you’re little, you can still be mighty in the Lord! He gives you everything you need to do this within his Word! See right here:

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” –¬†Isaiah 40:29

Have you ever felt weak and alone? Have you ever been unsure whether you could stand up to the problems of the day? Maybe you had to deal with math problems at school, friend problems in the neighborhood, or even bullies at recess. These are some of the things that worry us the most in our lives, especially when we are kids. Even though this is true, I’m here to tell you that you can hold your head up high and not get caught up in all of these worries. You have the strength to face anything from math to bullies, because God is with you and He is within you. He gives you a great description of the tools that you can use in the words of this scripture.

All of the tools you need are listed here:

All of these things are spiritual gifts that God gives to us when we allow Him into our lives every day, and when we ask Him to be our personal Savior. I know that life can be really crazy sometimes, and often we just don’t know what to do. When you feel this way, I’m telling you to pray to God; ask Him to make you mighty in heart, mind, and spirit. When you do this, you will suddenly find that these everyday battles aren’t as tough to fight as you once thought they were. Now, I do need to tell you that if someone is physically hurting you, you must tell a trusted adult and get help right away. If you do, God will give you strength to do that as well. He can always be trusted to love and care for you. Always remember that you are a Christian; a mighty, mighty Christian!
