Hi Kids and Parents!
Do you have a favorite super hero? Superman, Batman, Iron Man, Captain America? Who do you think is the best? No matter who you think it is, it’s so much fun to go to the theater, eat some popcorn, and watch any of them save the world on the big screen. It’s also fun to think that there is a normal-looking person who has such superhuman powers that can take away all my problems and fears!
Hmmm…wait a minute. I do know someone who has superhuman powers who will listen to me when I tell Him my problems. He’ll help me work through them too! You know I’m talking about God! He is so powerful, more so than we can imagine. Nature, the heavens, the earth, and the seas are controlled by His strength. He can forgive us and heal our sad hearts. He protects us from being fearful. And He takes away our worries! See what scripture says about Him!
