Small Group Ministry |
|
| Gravel Hill Church is a booming place. Sometimes you may find yourself lost in the shuffle, especially if you are new to the church. We want everyone to feel as though they belong from the moment they step through the front doors. A great way for that to occur is to offer a wide variety of activities and groups so that no matter what your preference, you will find a place to become more connected for your spiritual journey and for life. | |

Already in place are several groups that meet
regularly. These active groups are considered “small groups” of
Gravel Hill Church. They are: |

| Holy Grounds Cafe' is the newest ministry at Gravel Hill United Methodist Church. It is an area for fellowship and interaction with friends and family. Holy Grounds is exited to announce that it is now a wireless internet cafe'. Enjoy a cup of cappuccino or hot chocolate for only 50 cents per cup while surfing the web. | |

Healing Hands Prayer Group |

Adult Bible Study – A group of adults who meet in the Church Chapel to study seasonal lessons from the Bible. This is a study in lecture form. |
Rotating Leaders Wednesday evenings 7 - 8 PM

Adult Fun & Fellowship – A group of energetic adults who meet on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month. This group has devotional time with prayer and fellowship followed by games or service projects. This is quite an active group and goes on several fun fellowship trips a year.

Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Journey - A study aimed toward women who want to commit to a long-term Bible study. Discussion centers on all areas of the Bible, encouraging growth through study. Prayer and fellowship are also included in this spiritual endeavor. Group meets at the Church. |

Chronic Illness Support Group -Come join a Christian support group for people living with chronic illness ailments. Group meets at the Church. |

| Circle of Friends (formerly UMW women) - An energetic group of women who meet once a month at the Church for fun, food and fellowship. All women are welcome. |

Disciple - An in depth Bible study (34 weeks) focusing on
disciplined reading of and listening to Scripture. This group
moves through Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. |
Tuesday mornings 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. |
| Friends in Faith – Women meet at the Church and follow a planned Bible Study as well as fellowship, prayer and delicious snacks. |

Praise Team Group Study –
A study for those in the praise team ministry at Gravel Hill.
The group focuses on the spiritual aspects of serving the Lord in
music ministry. |

Every other Thursday evening |

Youth Bible Study – The youth group members meet in the church youth room and discuss topics of interest to today’s young people. |
