Ministry Teams

Administrative Board is responsible for overseeing the policy and procedures of the church.  The team is consists of the Administrative Board Chair/Vice Chair, Pastor, Lay Leader, Music Minister, Staff Parish Relations Chair, Finance Chair, Trustee Chair, Steering Team Chair and a number of at large members. 

Staff Parish Relations Team works with the pastor to ensure that staffing needs are met.  The team is consists of the Staff Parish Relations Chair, Lay Leader, Pastor and several at large members.

Finance Team is responsible for overseeing the finances of the church.  The team consists of the Finance Team Chair, Lay Leader, Treasurer, Financial Secretary and several at large members.

Trustees Team is responsible for the property owned by the church.  They are charged with the maintenance, cleanliness and disposition of all church property.  The team consists of a chair and 8 other elected members.

Nominations and Personnel  team assists the pastor in identifying persons to serve on the various ministries teams.  The team is chaired by the pastor and has several at large members.

Steering Team takes the lead in promoting the purpose, mission and vision of the church.  The steering team works closely with the program teams and the Administrative Board.  This team consists of a chair, Pastor, lay leader, Administrative Board chair, Music Minister, Ambassadors for Christ chair, Education chairs, Missions chair, and at large members.

Ambassadors for Christ lead the church in our efforts to reach out to the community.  They show our hospitality and provide information about our church.  The team consists of a team leader and at large members.

Education Team takes care of the needs of our Christian Education Department, secures required staff, offers Vacation Bible School to our children and the community.  This team consists of team chairs and at large members.

Missions Team is charged with organizing mission activities and promoting the missions we support.  This team consists of a team chair and at large members.

Worship Team works in conjunction with the pastor to develop meaningful worship experiences.  The team consists of the Minister of Music, Pastor, Lay Leader, Praise team leader, Sound technician, Liturgist Coordinator, Nursery Coordinator, Ushers and Greeters Coordinator, and at large members.

While these are the formal ministry teams, they are by no means our only ministry teams.  All members are encouraged to use their gifts and talents to serve the Lord.  We are proud to be a permission giving church.  If you have a talent you would like to share or if there is a team you would like serve on, please see the pastor, the steering team chair or the chair of the team that interests you.
